Intermediate Taiko Readiness Workshop

Open to taiko players with 2+ years of continuous taiko experience.

This one-day, hands-on taiko workshop offers an immersive introduction to intermediate-level practice in a supportive, ensemble-centered environment. Participants will move through guided warm-ups along with focused technique and timing work. Instructors share individualized guidance while getting a sense of how players absorb new material, recall patterns, and play together as an ensemble. Participants also have the opportunity to share their taiko goals, experience, and class preferences. This workshop will help the Instructor recommend participant's next steps for continued study within Makoto Taiko's 12 adult classes of varying focus and difficulty.

• Class Size: Limited to 25 participants (first come, first served)

• Parking: Street parking only

• Check-in begins 15 minutes before class time
